Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Can I test ride the KOVE 450RR at your place?
Yes, subject to the availability of demonstration vehicles. Please give us a quick call or send us a message beforehand – then we’ll reserve the motorbike for your appointment. A test ride is particularly worthwhile with this model: the character of a high-revving four-cylinder engine isn’t something you can read about in a spec sheet.
What driving licence do I need for the KOVE 450RR?
At around 52 kW, the 450RR is well above the A2 limit of 35 kW and therefore requires an open-class A licence. We can check on request whether a type-approved restrictor variant is available for your model year, based on the latest manufacturer’s documentation – please do not rely on information from online forums in this regard.
Is the 450RR suitable for track days?
Very good indeed – the lightweight chassis and short gear ratios really come into their own on the racetrack. It’s a good idea to ensure you have crash protection, suitable tyres and a suspension set-up tailored to your weight beforehand. We’ll take care of all the preparations and, if you wish, we’ll also be on hand during the track day itself.
How quickly can a vehicle be made available?
That depends on the specific delivery. If we do not have any vehicles in stock, we will let you know the current status of the next batch, rather than giving you a date that we cannot guarantee. On request, we can reserve a motorbike for you from the next delivery. We can also order other models from the KOVE range for you on request.
What are the arrangements regarding service, spare parts and the warranty?
New vehicles come with a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to the statutory warranty; we will inform you of the binding terms and conditions at the time of purchase. To be eligible for the warranty, the prescribed servicing must be carried out and documented by us as an authorised KOVE workshop. We source spare parts through the official distribution channel.
Do you offer finance for new KOVE vehicles?
Yes. Through our financing partners, Creditplus Bank and Santander Bank, we’ll put together a suitable repayment plan for you – with no deposit required or a final instalment at the end of the term, if you wish.
